About Therapy
Therapy is unique for each person and depends on the concerns you bring and your preferences. The focus is on what is important to you. You will never be forced to do anything you are not comfortable with while at the same time, you will be encouraged, at times, to stretch beyond your comfort zone.
Therapy can be short term (1 – 6 sessions) or longer term. The focus can be on the present and moving forward and/or on resolving your past. How often you come is determined in consultation with your therapist and could be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
Therapy is based on a thorough assessment that may take up to three sessions to complete. I will discuss with you what my understanding is of your situation and together we will work toward a positive outcome for you.
Your confidentiality and privacy will be respected.
